Blue Valentine (Dir. Derek Cianfrance)
“I think it’s very romantic. Back home, they call it an anti-love story. But the filmmaker, when he first started writing this film 12 years ago, he said he wrote it as a reaction to all these films that he was watching, which seemed like the actors were carved out of marble and made in the image of gods.
He wanted to make a film that was made in the image of man, that embraces that our faults are what makes us special and human. And these characters in this film couldn’t embrace each other’s faults, because they were trying to live up to some idea of perfection that only exists in movies. So, I think that it is romantic to acknowledge the faults.”
Main reason why I love this movie…
‘EW’ with Jimmy and Channing Tatum
I’m that student! Haha!!!

So… this is me…. hahah!!!!!
Can this man be any more attractive?
This is about sex, this place, as well. That it’s about her discovering sensuality. And also that she’s not just admiring Darcy’s wealth, but she’s admiring his culture, she’s admiring his appreciation of beauty. That he has a sensitive soul. And that she loves him for his sensitivity.
How Hollywood Says “I Love You”
I love movies!
I feel like men are more romantic than women. When we get married we marry, like, one girl, ‘cause we’re resistant the whole way until we meet one girl and we think I’d be an idiot if I didn’t marry this girl she’s so great. But it seems like girls get to a place where they just kinda pick the best option… ‘Oh he’s got a good job.’ I mean they spend their whole life looking for Prince Charming and then they marry the guy who’s got a good job and is gonna stick around.
